Valve will finally be launching its Steam Deck in Australia this November. The announcement was made at PAX Australia, currently taking place in Melbourne, with the handheld available in the country two years and nine months after its original release.

Valve has taken to the PAX Australia show floor this morning to announce that the Steam Deck is officially coming to Australia. After being available for sometime through unofficial channels here in Australia, Valve has confirmed that both the LCD Steam Deck and the Steam Deck OLED will be sold and shipped through Steam directly here in Australia.

Australian gamers won't have to buy Steam Deck at exorbitant prices from a reseller anymore or to import them into the country with help from a friend overseas. At PAX Australia, Valve has announced that it will start selling the handheld PC gaming device in the country starting in November.

Valve will finally bring the Steam Deck to Australia as it continues to expand the availability of its popular handheld gaming PC. The company announced that both the LCD and the OLED versions of the Steam Deck will be available to purchase in Australia starting this November.
