We’ve seen many video game adaptation movies and TV shows cross our screens in recent history… some better than others. But when it comes to cinematic adaptations of our favorite games, there’s no one-size-fits-all answer when it comes to the question of what the best method of adaptation might be.

That changes today, as Sony Pictures has released our first look at the Until Dawn movie. This isn't a full-fledged trailer, as the footage is only a few seconds long.

Where the original game starred the likes of Rami Malek, Hayden Panettiere, and Jordan Fisher, the movie version reveals a new slate of stars: Ella Rubin, Michael Cimino, Odessa A’zion, Ji-young Yoo, Belmont Cameli, and Maia Mitchell. And seemingly reprising his role as Dr. Alan J. Hill is the dependably unnerving Peter Stormare.
