In the wake of this morning's wintry and wet mess, warmer air is overspreading the region. The result will be areas of patchy dense fog. There could be some cold air trapped in low-lying valleys and that would lead to icy patches developing. Otherwise, partly cloudy and coolish weather awaits us for the remainder of the overnight.

Last night's storm was enough for some school systems to close. The snow and slush made for a messy Wednesday morning in some spots. Ryan Hughes talked with neighbors as they dig out in Washington Township,
