McNeil's dog, Willow, actually ended up returning the home run ball to the Mets star after a fan gave it to the pup.

New York Mets utilityman Jeff McNeil's dog Willow has been a social media sensation since her adoption last summer, and on Tuesday, got to take home a souvenir – a home run ball hit by her dad.

McNeil also said he told his wife that if they got the dog, he’d hit more home runs. He’s been as good as his word, starting with a three-run shot July 26.
