The Comic Book Lesson i s scheduled for the summer of 2022, and Mark Crilley's agent Ammi-Joan Paquette at Erin Murphy Literary negotiated the deal.

So far, Crilley has amassed over 2.5 million subscribers who look to him as their manga guru, and the artist said he relied on the feedback of those fans for his latest book.
