More snow will fall across Maine on Wednesday
Cold air returns to Maine on Tuesday, and snow is on the way for Wednesday. An active pattern looks to be taking shape for the end of the week and weekend as well. Tuesday will have dropping temperatures and blustery winds, but plenty of sun for the afternoon. Temps will fall through the 20s, and wind chills will drop into the single digits.

Elevation will play a role with this next system and snow production, with the mountainous regions of Western Mass., New Hampshire and Vermont possibly reaching 3 inches. Some trailing, scattered snow showers on the back edge of the storm will continue through Wednesday’s commute home.
