Ubisoft has officially removed the three-day early access for Assassin's Creed: Shadows for all versions of the game.

Ultimately, Assassin’s Creed Shadows still has the potential to close out 2024 with a bang despite its delay. While there are still many questions surrounding the game, particularly in regard to the rumored LEAGUE mode, the possibility of co-op offers a compelling reason for fans to stay engaged with the game as its launch date approaches.

To compensate for the loss of the early access period, the cost is being reduced: Instead of going for $280 as it was originally priced, the collector's edition will sell for $230—a pretty deep cut for what I would say is a relatively minor loss.

Given that buyers will no longer receive three days of early access and it won’t include a Season Pass as originally advertised, the Collector’s Edition price is being reduced from $279.99 to $229.99.
