Former Texas receiver Johntay Cook’s stay in Washington is over before the first practice. Once a five-star recruit from DeSoto, Cook and the Huskies have already “parted ways” according to reports less than a month after he joined the program.

The former five-star prospect out of DeSoto parted ways with Texas in November and transferred to Washington shortly after.

Johntay Cook and Washington have parted ways just a couple of weeks after the former 5-star committed to the program.

Former Texas football receiver Johntay Cook II committed to Washington during the winter transfer window. Not even a month later and Cook has already left the program. According to a report from the Seattle Times,

Former five-star wide receiver Johntay Cook II, who joined UW during the winter transfer window, is no longer part of the program.
