James Bond films have seen some hugely-off adaptations from the source material, but this one is so far-gone it deserves a re-do.

But lately, there's another Amazon series centered on a kick-ass male hero that has me rethinking that concern. Because if Bond fans are looking for a test case as to what a James Bond Amazon Prime Video show might look like, Reacher is a damn good example of how to do it right.

Amazon's purchase of the rights to James Bond understandably prompted some worries about changes to the enduring franchise. However, a recent report suggests that the production giant is making no major alterations, instead opting to respect the creative vision of the series' longtime custodians.
