First responders say landslide debris is blocking traffic or in some cases slides are causing roadways to collapse, cutting off access to entire neighborhoods.

JACKSON COUNTY, Ore. (KPTV) - A woman in southern Oregon has died following heavy rain and flooding in the area. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says a woman was killed in Central Point after being swept away in a flooded creek.

Governor Tina Kotek has declared a state of emergency for southern Oregon due to a series of floods and landslides that have caused significant damage and threatened communities since late February.
