The ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association (PHPA) have both officially ratified a new collective bargaining agreement.

A hockey player stoppage is coming to an end after a deal was struck by the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association. On Tuesday, they announced that both the ECHL and PHPA have ratified an agreement on a new collective bargaining agreement.

The ECHL strike has officially ended as players ratified the agreement made this past weekend between the league and the Professional Hockey Players' Association.

The Wichita Thunder had games postponed by an ECHL strike, but a tentative agreement now has hockey likely returning to Wichita this week.

It will definitely be a ‘Hockey Night’ in Wheeling tonight as the Wheeling Nailers will celebrate their annual Kids’ New Years Eve game. The first-place Nailers will host the Worcester Railers at 6:10 inside WesBanco Arena.
