As air traffic controllers miss their first full paycheck, larger numbers of the workforce are calling in sick—forcing the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to slow the flow of traffic at some of the nation’s busiest airports.

DENVER ( KDVR) — Denver International Airport celebrated 10 years of having therapy animals at the airport on Wednesday. The therapy animals, which DIA calls its Canine Airport Therapy Squad — or CATS for short — have been at the airport since Oct. 29, 2015, DIA said Wednesday.
