Marvel Studios is finally doing something in The Fantastic Four: First Steps that we wish had been done right at the start of the Multiverse Saga.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps will tie into Avengers: Doomsday, where the Fantastic Four are set to appear. Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, and Natasha Lyonne join the cast in undisclosed roles. Matt Shakman, Josh Friedman, and Cam Squires wrote the screenplay, with Eric Pearson completing the final draft.

During Pascal's appearance on the Monday, March 24 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote the second season of HBO's The Last of Us, Kimmel, 57, noted that audiences did not see Pascal's character Reed Richards — a.k.a. Mr. Fantastic — use his superpowers in the movie's first trailer, released Feb. 4.
