DALLAS — DFW Airport is back to normal operations after a "technical error" forced the evacuation of Terminal E, the re-screening of passengers, and caused flight delays for thousands of passengers.
This will allow the airport to reallocate gates in Terminal D and Terminal E to other airlines. The new agreement extends American Airlines' Use and Lease Agreement with DFW to 2043.
Terminal E at the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport was evacuated Friday afternoon due to a technical error, officials said. The terminal, which has 38 gates, reopened shortly before 2 p.m.
