The Big 12 title race takes center stage in Week 10, as the Cincinnati Bearcats visit the Utah Utes. Cincinnati is tied with the BYU Cougars atop the Big 12 standings with a 5-0 conference record. Utah is one of a few teams that needs to win out and get some help to land in the Big 12 Championship Game.

Week 9 of the college football season saw some notable changes in ESPN's Football Power Index (FPI). The FPI is a computer-based system that calculates rankings based on strength of schedule and both offensive and defensive efficiency. After the action in Week 9, several teams got boosts after big wins.

Penn State has some company in a miserable category this week, as the Nittany Lions are no longer the only former top-10 team ranked in the Bottom 25. Florida State is in the same boat after a 20-13 loss at Stanford marked its fourth straight defeat.
