Pattinson's latest update is very positive indeed, since it's a concrete sign the wheels are turning on the movie. We'll sadly just have to wait a while longer to see it, though, since it doesn't release until October 1, 2027.

Pattinson’s confirmation comes after the film’s release date had been delayed from Oct. 2, 2026 to Oct. 1, 2027 by Warner Bros. and director Reeves told Deadline at the Golden Globes that The Batman Part II will start shooting at some point in 2025.
