Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold has somehow managed to reach late March without giving a clear statement on his future, as his contract expires. It appears there will be few more questions

Further assessment has confirmed that he suffered a syndesmosis injury (high ankle sprain) with some damage to the ligaments connecting the tibia and fibula above the ankle point. There is no set timescale with much depending on how Alexander-Arnold responds to treatment in the coming weeks.

It's both currently unclear if Trent Alexander-Arnold leaves Liverpool this summer and if he does whether or not the club will sign a long-term alternative to replace him
