Women’s basketball fans had long speculated if Dallas Wings rookie Paige Bueckers was dating longtime friend and former UConn teammate Azzi Fudd. Now they have their answer.

After Paige Bueckers’ departure, the UConn Huskies are keeping the good vibes alive, and guard KK Arnold is doing her part to keep things light.

Paige Bueckers is not used to losing. At one point during her high school career, Bueckers led the Hopkins Royals to 62 consecutive wins. At the University of Connecticut, Bueckers played in four Final Fours and overcame multiple knee injuries to win a national championship with the Huskies earlier this year.

The Dallas Wings suffered a tough loss on Sunday, falling 102-83 to Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever, dropping to 6-16 on the season. Despite the team’s struggles through 22 games, one thing has become clear: the face of the franchise is emerging in rookie guard Paige Bueckers.
