On Thursday, the National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for the Houston metro area as a severe storm system is rolling through Texas.

The nation’s fourth-largest city is facing a serious severe weather threat Thursday as storms tear across the South.

A stormy day in Texas escalated quickly on Thursday afternoon with the formation of quick-moving tornados in and near Southeast Texas. Observers near El Campo, Texas captured video of one tornado touching down outside of town on Thursday.

As Beyoncé took the stage during the Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens game at NRG Stadium — part of Netflix's first "NFL Christmas Gameday" live — she was joined by Texas Southern University's Ocean of Soul.

Beyoncé performed hits from her country album, “Cowboy Carter” for the first time during the Texans versus Ravens halftime show. She brought out featured artists on the album including Post Malone and Shaboozey.

A university marching band from Houston took the field with Beyoncé Wednesday during her halftime show for a Netflix-broadcasted NFL game.
