The daughter of Emmy winner Kyle Chandler was a wallflower raised outside of Hollywood. Now she's leading one of the biggest shows of the year.

The Variety piece in question, which also featured Chandler’s “Alien: Earth” costar Timothy Olyphant and the show’s creator, Noah Hawley, included a “How Well Do They Know Each Other?” game. Chandler, 29, was skeptical about the group activity.

Alien: Earth is close to landing on FX and Hulu, but before fans dive into the latest corner of this franchise’s universe, the stars are acquainting viewers with the Earth dwellers set to cross paths with the Xenomorph and other alien species.

"I did not know at the time it was a dealbreaker, to [not] do a game and personal question thing," Sydney claimed of the cover shoot

The series by creator Noah Hawley is described as a spin-off to the original Ridley Scott-directed film, " Alien ," from 1979. The film follows a space crew aboard the starship, Nostromo, who are on their journey back home when they receive a distress call from an alien vessel.

Who and What are Dame and Arthur Sylvia?: Dame Sylvia and Arthur Sylvia are humans and scientists helping Boy Kavalier create the hybrids. Arthur seems to be more invested in the technical aspect of the project, while Dame is something of a therapist and mother figure to the kids. They are also married to each other.

Timothy Olyphant and Sydney Chandler star in the Noah Hawley-created series, which begins with a spaceship crash-landing on our planet and introducing an array of deadly extraterrestrial creatures.
