Hall of Fame trainer Bill Mott didn’t sound like someone preparing Sovereignty for a trip to Baltimore to run in the 150th Preakness Stakes.

Kentucky Derby winner Sovereignty dazzled in his late-closing victory at Churchill Downs, but trainer Bill Mott remains uncertain whether the colt will pursue Triple Crown glory in the upcoming Preakness Stakes.

Sovereignty ran away with the 151st Kentucky Derby on Saturday at a muddy Churchill Downs and it only took a few minutes of celebrating before the obvious question was asked of the thoroughbred's trainers: Will the horse run the Preakness Stakes next?
