The man was on the street in the 2500 block of East 83rd Street at 6:17 p.m. Monday when he was shot in the head by a woman, police said. He is in critical condition. The woman is in custody.

Police said, around 8:40 p.m., officers responded to a shooting near 38th and Ellis, and found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.

CHICAGO - A man was killed in a shootout Monday morning in Chicago's Gresham neighborhood. The 63-year-old got into an argument with someone around 2 a.m. in the 1800 block of West 83rd Street, according to police.

Chicago police are investigating what appears to have been a road rage incident that led to a shooting in Canaryville on the South Side Saturday night. Police said it happened shortly after 5 p.m. near 47th and Wallace Streets.
