Assassin’s Creed Shadows may be shaping up to be the hit Ubisoft needed. On social media, the Assassin’s Creed team announced that the game, which was released on Thursday, has so far drawn in two million players.

We already know Assassin’s Creed Shadows has been played by two million people across all platforms and has set a new series concurrents record on Steam, but now we have a little more insight into the initial sales of Ubisoft’s feudal foray.

There’s no question that the newest Assassin’s Creed game by Ubisoft is quite the hit. In fact, right after hitting the one million player-mark on day one, Assassin’s Creed Shadows surpassed the two million mark after day two. Ubisoft made the announcement on the franchise’s official X (formerly Twitter):
