Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has condemned a "horrific" Russian ballistic missile attack on the northeastern Ukrainian city of Sumy on Sunday, after repeated warnings from Ukrainian officials that a fresh offensive on the area could be imminent.

President Donald Trump of the United States said on Saturday that talks aimed at ending the war in Ukraine may be going on well, stressing there is a point to either put up or shut up. Trump stated this while speaking to reporters a day after he showed frustration with Russia and told it to “get moving” on reaching a deal.
