After confiscating 42 guns last year, TSA agents intercepted two handguns on Tuesday morning at International Airport.

Officials say the agents intercepted a Pittsburgh man’s loaded .32 caliber handgun and a Baden man’s loaded .40 caliber gun at two different checkpoints on Tuesday morning. TSA says the incidents are unrelated, and police confiscated both weapons.

Two loaded guns were intercepted at the Pittsburgh International Airport in separate incidents Monday. A Pittsburgh man was stopped after Transportation Security Administration officers found a .32-caliber handgun loaded with six bullets.

The first two guns of 2025 were stopped at Pittsburgh International Airport on Tuesday in separate incidents. The Transportation Safety Administration says the guns were stopped at separate security checkpoints.
