One police officer was wounded after at least two people shot at officers outside an immigration detention center in Texas, according to a criminal complaint in federal court.

One federal officer was shot in the neck during the ambush. He was subsequently treated at a Fort Worth hospital and released.

Three people have been charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed in Plymouth. Keira Matthews, 24, of no fixed abode, Plymouth, Royston Morgan, 22, of Barnfield Terrace, St Columb, and Cody Turner, 22, of Bassett Road, Camborne, are due to appear at Plymouth Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
