Vance Boelter was charged in the shooting of two Minnesota lawmakers. Iowa officials were on lists found in his notebook, police said.

The suspect wanted in the slaying of a Minnesota lawmaker and her husband, as well as in the injury shooting of a state senator and his wife, was found Sunday night armed and crawling in a field in a sparsely populated stretch of Minnesota,

Minnesota lawmaker shooting suspect Vance Boelter lived part-time in a Minneapolis home with a longtime friend. Boelter texted the roommate he did something bad and he might be dead soon.

The alleged shooter is a 57-year-old white male; according to his ministry's website, he “sought out militant Islamists in order to share the gospel and tell them that violence wasn't the answer.”
