Michigan State, which released its full non-conference schedule last week, plays the first regular season game at home against Monmouth on Nov. 4. After a trip to the Maui Invitational later that month is a two-game dip into the Big Ten that finally has known opponents.

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Michigan State’s men’s basketball schedule for the 2024-25 season, presented by Rocket Mortgage, was announced on Thursday afternoon. MSU will play both home and away against Illinois, Michigan and Minnesota.

Michigan basketball is set to embark upon a new era with Dusty May at the helm and a bevy of transfers with hopes that it can win right away. And in a new-look Big Ten, that also means some new teams on the schedule.
