Former England captain Michael Vaughan said that India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is the only bowler in the world to have an upper hand over in form Joe Root in recent times.

Vaughan remarked on Root's love for the game, suggesting that his passion and form would allow him to keep playing at the highest level for years to come.

Root currently has 147 Test matches under his belt and has scored over 12,500 runs for England in the format, having made his debut back in 2013.
