A manhunt is intensifying for the gunman who allegedly killed a bartender and three patrons at a bar in southwestern Montana, authorities said.Michael Paul Brown allegedly opened fire around 10:30 a.m.

The man accused of killed four people at a Montana bar on Friday morning lived next door to it, according to the Montana Department of Justice.

A shooting at The Owl Bar in Anaconda on Friday, Aug. 1, 2025, has resulted in four fatalities, according to law enforcement officials. The suspect, identified as 45-year-old Michael Brown of Anaconda remains at large. Photo: NBC Montana
