Two people died and more than a dozen were hurt when a Mexican navy training ship hit the Brooklyn Bridge on Saturday in New York City, officials said.  In a news conference, New York City Mayor Eric Adams said 277 were on board the vessel sailing the East River when it collided with the bridge just before 8:30 p.

A Mexican tall ship, owned by the Mexican navy and on a goodwill tour to the United States, collided with the bottom of the Brooklyn Bridge on Saturday evening killing two sailors and injuring more than a dozen others,

There were 277 people on board when the ship drifted directly into the underside of the bridge on Saturday night, the authorities said. At least 22 were injured, half of them critically.
