Luckily for Hangout fans, it looks like the festival will maintain its tradition of spanning multiple musical genres.

Hangout Fest producers announced Thursday that they’ve partnered up with country star Morgan Wallen. On the weekend of May 16-18, the Hangout Fest and Wallen will bring the debut of Sand in My Boots to the sugar beaches of Gulf Shores.

The producers of the show say country star Morgan Wallen will present the "Sand in My Boots" festival on the beaches of Gulf Shores in May. The usual hip-hop and rock lineup is gone. In its place, three days of country music with Wallen and other headliners. Wallen posted a video online promising to bring his dream music festival to Gulf Shores.
