XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports have filed a preliminary injunction in their antitrust lawsuit against NASCAR, asking to be permitted to compete in the NASCAR Cup Series as chartered teams in 2024.

The teams are pushing for expedited discovery of key documents and argue that NASCAR's practices hinder competition and fairness in the sport.

23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports filed a motion Wednesday in U.S. District Court for a preliminary injunction that would allow both teams to compete as chartered teams despite not signing the new charter agreement that begins in 2025. Both teams have filed an antitrust lawsuit against NASCAR.
