On Tuesday, football star David Beckham received a knighthood from King Charles III at Windsor Castle, in honor of his "services to sport and charity.

David Beckham has joined a rare group of football greats as he becomes the 17th male personality from the sport to be honoured with a knighthood.

The ceremony recognised Beckham’s decades-long contribution to football and his extensive charitable work.
