Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said that he will vote to advance a Republican bill to fund the government for the rest of the fiscal year, potentially averting the threat of a government shutdown.

Just a day after saying Republicans didn't have the votes to pass their continuing resolution, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer says he'll vote to keep the government open. Congress has until midnight on Friday to send a spending bill to President Trump to keep the government open.
