The Chicago Bears just added a lot of experience. On Tuesday, they announced the signing of two defensive players with a combined 199 games of NFL experience. The Bears have brought in defensive back Tre Flowers and defensive lineman Tanoh Kpassagnon to their 90-man roster.
The Bears drafted Loveland 10th overall knowing he would need six months to recover from the shoulder surgery he had in January. He did not participate in offseason activities on the field, although he did classroom work to try to learn Ben Johnson’s playbook.
The former Missouri star was projected to be a first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, but he slid to No. 39 overall after questions about his commitment and work ethic arose during the 2024 season. The fact thate he regressed to just 61 catches for 676 yards and six touchdowns didn't help.
