NBA executive believes Austin Reaves is perfect free-agent fit for Brooklyn Nets
An unnamed Eastern Conference executive told ESPN he views Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves as a perfect target for Brooklyn once he reaches free agency. “AR’s a stud,” the executive told ESPN. “If I were the Brooklyn Nets, I would throw all the money at him. He has shown when he gets the keys to the engine, he can produce.”
The staple duo of the frontcourt has been Nic Claxton and Porter Jr. –– unsurprisingly, the Nets' leading rebounders. Porter Jr. is averaging 7.7 rebounds per game, his best average across his seven seasons in the NBA. Claxton, on the other hand, hasn't provided the usual spark he does on the boards.
