Ben Gurion International Airport, Israel's main travel hub, was hit Sunday with a Houthi missile that bypassed Israeli and American defense systems.

Several airlines have again suspended flights into and out of Israel, following a missile strike that hit the grounds of Ben-Gurion Airport on Sunday. Israeli defenses tried but failed to intercept the missile fired by the Houthis in Yemen before it struck the airport,

The rare hit near Ben Gurion Airport came ahead of a vote by Israel’s security cabinet to expand ground operations in Gaza.
