It wasn't as pretty as their last two blowout wins over Purdue and Rutgers, but Wisconsin was able to extend its winning streak to three with a 23-3 win.

Wisconsin’s decisive advantage came with its defense on the field. The unit allowed just 209 total yards — 82 passing and 127 rushing. It scored nine points, in essence, with the aforementioned forced turnover on the goal line and a safety late in the second half.

The Wisconsin football team took care of business on the road again Saturday. The Badgers defeated Northwestern, 23-3, at Martin Stadium to raise their record to 5-2 overall and 3-1 in the Big Ten.
