Arkansas and St. John’s had the country’s attention when the brackets were announced last weekend. It was John Calipari vs. Rick Pitino again in the NCAA Tournament. And somehow the two programs surpassed everyone’s expectations.

As time expired in the Razorbacks’ second-round March Madness victory over No. 2 seed St. John’s, CBS cameras captured the emotional scene between Calipari’s wife, Ellen, and their daughter, Megan, who watched from the stands inside the Amica Mutual Pavillion in Providence, Rhode Island.

John Calipari is heading back to the Sweet 16 after sending a second straight Hall of Famer home from the NCAA Tournament’s “Region of Coaches.”
