There are just a few buildings and when we were there they were not open. There were signs on each building ie. Officers Quarters, Hospital, Enlisted Quarters, etc. We saw the entire fort and spent less time there then it took to walk from the parking area to the fort. It is not much to see.
I didn’t see anyone with dogs when I went but it’s more of an attraction in a park so I don’t see them turning you away if your dog is with you. It’s not very big and you can see …
