Open Daily 9a - 4p; Last car out by 5p. The Alabama Safari Park has been welcoming visitors from all over the world since 2018, to explore and experience hundreds of wild animals up-close as they roam free across 350-acres. Take your time as you drive along 3-miles of safari roads. Roll down your window and extend a bucket of feed and you’ll get a visit from many of them wanting a snack. The experience of having exotic animals or the friendliest llamas in the state of Alabama, only inches away, feeding from your bucket, is virtually impossible to describe. Stroll through the Safari Village featuring the Budgie Adventure Aviary, the Giraffe Tower where guests enjoy feeding reticulated giraffes and unique animal encounters.

Do they have an area for birthday party?
A:
Not sure about that. It's a big space, but we didn't stick around after we went through the park, so I don't know if there are tables or an enclosure or anything like that.

Planning to stop here on our way to Florida this summer. Wondering if there are any restaurants to stop at for a quick lunch after visiting the park?
A:
From what I remember, there is nothing around the Safari Park. It is quite isolated. Your best bet would be to back track a bit to Montgomery for lunch.
Q:
What is the cost of admission?
A:
$16.95 admission for adults. They do charge extra for feed for the animals ($4.00 for feed and $1.50 for budgie sticks - you may need more than one because the llamas and camels …

Q:
How much time should we plan in for the visit ? How big is the park ? Thank you !
A:
We were there 3 hours and could have stayed longer. Once you pay, you are allowed to go through repeatedly. We went twice and played in the petting area as well as the aviary.
